Because it looks like my riding is really improving… maybe I should have ordered the long riding boots sooner!
The Half Pass dark mystery is no longer dark and is turning lighter each lesson… and now I even got magnificent moments cantering in Half Pass along the arena.
In the Leg Yield the horse is not dying all the way from A to M… but he moves freely and swinging. For the first time I managed to really keep a regular movement until the end!
Now I keep the horse on a much more forward attitude in all gaits and I am more aware when he is falling in shoulder or haunches, and correcting when that happens.
I’m not riding with draw reins anymore, and I recognize that they were of great use to improve my hands steadiness!
Work in Progress: Downward transitions in between gaits, the sited trot, cantering to the right, the heels and keeping a straight back!

I thing that, you should have a photo with them in your blog, as you did with your whip.
It is great to read that you feel that you are improving.
You see, sometimes some hard work and a little disappointment can bring in the future good results.

Fantastic! Looking good is half the battle...sometimes if we are wearing something nice it makes us feel and act sharper because we look sharp. Nice to hear your rides are going so well!
