Started with a short warm up at walk in long reins followed by work at rising trot in circles, serpentines asking for bending and counter-bending and transitions trot/walk/trot.
In the end we worked the transitions walk/canter/trot/walk in the LL attitude and it was ok. Due to the lack of work the horse is in a very forward mood and extremely responsive to the leg (I was riding without spurs) and in the transitions sometimes he rushed and was a little difficult to keep him on the bit, but I managed to get some nice ones.
To relax with came outside and walked around the yard in loose reins just to feel the cool breeze of the sunset.
2 apples for the horse and it was all for today!

What is the name of the Horse? Is he a Stallion Lusi? :-)
I like to hear what you do in your lesson. it gives me ideas, and just confirm that we are doing very similar things ... ^-^
Hi Muriel,
He is a Portuguese crossbred... basically an unregistered Lusitano. Yes he is a stallion and his name is "Miura"!
Happy that my lesson reports help you in some way :)
I just love your little drawings lol, do you do them on your computer or hand draw them then fix them up on here? They are very cute.
Very interesting to read about your lessons, esspecially as you are always working with an instructor.
Hi Anna,
I hand draw them then clean them up and add the color background on the computer :)
